Exercise - A Therapy
"Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen."
Waking up, spending hours scrolling through the Instagram reels is one of the most popular morning routine of people these days. It may be followed by an unhealthy breakfast such as pancakes or cereals full of sugar. Or it may even start with a self-hate talk. And then starts the hustle-bustle of the work or school. All this chaos in the morning has messed up our posture and health. But, there is something each one of us can do to make it this hectic routine less overwhelming and something that can help us boost our self-confidence.
How I Started doing Exercise
Exercise; just moving your body in a way you like can be such a game changer. Believe me; I started working out in the starting of just this year. And it has changed me for better. I feel confident, satisfied and happy. Of course it leads to a healthier body, but moreover it gives a positive mind-set. At the beginning, it thought I will give up maybe just after a month. But no, I have surprised even myself with consistent workout till date.
I started this journey with the help of a YouTube channel called ‘Growingwithannas’. Anna makes beginner/intermediate or even advanced friendly workouts and motivational videos. ‘Blogilates’ has also been one of my favorite fitness channels for working out and even for some motivation. What I suggest is that you should do guided home workouts. What I do on school days is that I wake up around six o’clock in the morning which is followed by thirty minutes of exercise which could be yoga or tabata and then it is meditation for five minutes.
This routine helps me keep myself active even during the school hours. After returning home, I take thirty minutes nap and then start with my homework. This helps me get more done in less time with better concentration.
Different Types of Workout
Working out can be in various forms like Cardio, Yoga, Tabata, Pilates, Dance, a Sport or whatever you like the most. Personally, I like doing them all turn-wise. It gives me versatility and I don’t get bored.

How to Start Doing Exercise
Home workouts are the best way to start because you can do whatever you like without being watched, in your comfortable house and all that for free! Exercise gives best results if you do them in the morning. It refreshes you and you actually feel it like an accomplishment you’ve achieved at the start of the day. Wake up early (like ten to fifteen minutes before sunrise), go for a jog or cycling and you’ll feel truly refreshed and amazing. I know it sounds a bit out of your comfort zone, but you have to give it a try.
Benefits of Exercise
You might even make some friends if you go to walk or jog every day in a public garden! Start with at least forty-five minutes of work out five times a week or thirty minutes workout for six times a week. Exercise can improve thinking and cognition in children. It is scientifically proven that exercise can lower your risks of developing at least eight types of cancer and can overall improve the quality of life. So exercise to me is like therapy which works as a stress buster. Try doing some workout when you feel like it’s too much.

Conclusion
Incorporating regular exercise into your daily routine improves physical health, mental well-being, and energy levels. From cardio to strength training, every workout counts. Whether you're a beginner or a advanced fitness enthusiast, it's never too late to get moving.
Start with a short walk, a few minutes of stretching, or whatever works for you—and build from there.
